Our government protects sea turtle eggs because they recognize that a fertilized turtle egg is a real, live, baby turtle. Our government doesn’t protect baby humans, because, even though it’s a fertilized egg, they refuse to see it as a real baby human, instead it’s just a “clump of cells.” What sense does that make?
If the fertilized turtle egg was growing in a person’s uterus, then yes that person would have the right to abort/kill it. Seriously why do some people not understand that the fetus is growing inside another person’s body? That person has rights.
Not to mention that turtles are endangered, and we humans screwed them over. And turtles are fully authorized to trample their own eggs.
Fail comparison fail.
